The boys are developing very quickly. They now know their positions and the rotations are much smoother. Serving has been fantastic. We have some boys who can really hit the ball. I am very impressed with the team spirit and morale lately. We played our first league game against Golden Gate last week and we won. We also played our second game against Bruce. The boys lost in two sets by scores of 23-25 and 25-27. I was so impressed with their hard work and improvement from the last time we played Bruce (we lost in two sets 7-25 and 15-25). Keep up the great work boys! Our next game is Monday, October 19 at Ness.
September 23
Today was our first practice as a full team. We worked on the basics like serving, passing, serve receive, and positioning. I sent out permission slips that need to be signed and brought back ASAP. There are also parent consent forms for parents who can drive boys to games. Our next practice is tomorrow at lunch and we have our first tournament Saturday at Van Walleghem School! I am very excited to get our first tournament under our belts. Go Sharks!
